CN: What is something happening at your mission that you are most grateful for?

Yakima Union Gospel Mission : We are so grateful for our amazing staff and volunteer team who are so passionate, so committed, and so in love with Jesus! The past year included some difficult seasons of refinement and turnover of some key staff, but the Lord has so graciously and faithfully rebuilt a wonderful group of servants to live out the gospel through our love, professionalism and outcomes.

CN: What is something you are looking forward to and/or praying for?

Yakima Union Gospel Mission : YUGM is currently in litigation with the State of Washington to protect our rights as a religious organization to hire Christians, people who share and live out our historic biblical beliefs. As you intercede for legal issues like this, also offer thanks for the amazing support we are receiving from the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).

CN: In what ways has being a Citygate Network member been a resource to you and your team?

Yakima Union Gospel Mission : Citygate has provided a wonderful support system for intentional staff learning, identifying best-practices, and developing healthy organizational partnerships. It’s such a joy to know that we are well-connected to likeminded missions and nonprofits who share our desire to serve Christ by serving men, women and children who also matter to our Father in heaven.
