Citygate Network Announces Partnership with The Salvation Army and Adult & Teen Challenge to Advance Faith-Based Addiction Recovery

October 8, 2024—Colorado Springs, CO - Citygate Network is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with The Salvation Army and Adult & Teen Challenge through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaborative agreement aims to strengthen the impact of faith-based addiction recovery by showcasing the transformative role of faith through data-driven results.

This partnership is about much more than just joining forces. It’s about using data to validate what we’ve seen for decades—that faith has the power to change lives in a meaningful and lasting way.
Tom De Vries, President, Citygate Network

The MoU outlines a joint effort to utilize a shared measurement tool that will gather and present unified data on how faith contributes to addiction recovery outcomes. By creating a comprehensive approach to data collection, these three organizations will work together to demonstrate how faith-based interventions significantly influence long-term recovery, providing crucial insights into the recovery journey.

“This partnership is about much more than just joining forces,” said Tom De Vries, President, Citygate Network. “It’s about using data to validate what we’ve seen for decades—that faith has the power to change lives in a meaningful and lasting way. With this unified approach, we can more effectively support those in need and build a strong foundation for faith-based recovery to be recognized, funded, and integrated into policy discussions.”

Key Objectives of the Partnership:

Together, this collaboration will help illuminate the critical role that faith-based organizations play in addressing addiction. As a result, it will unlock new opportunities for funding, resources, and partnership, further strengthening each organization’s ability to serve those battling addiction.
