New Outreach Concept Debuts in Indianapolis

With future plans to expand to 25 cities across eight states, reversebus® will launch a “comprehensive ecosystem of redesigned city buses and vending machines that provide … immediate, low-barrier access to free essential resources for individuals experiencing poverty and episodic homelessness.”

This fleet of buses plans to launch its pilot project in Indianapolis by providing safe spaces for eating, washing, sleeping and first aid in repurposed buses parked along the street at various locations around the city, meeting people right where they are. Using a free wristband process, guests can access passes to use any or all of the available services. They can also receive links to trusted transition partners willing to help them navigate the specific challenges they face. Explore the website here or check out the video reversebus® created to demonstrate how the whole ecosystem will work.
