Every year, Citygate Network's ANNUAL MEDIA INNOVATION COMPETITION celebrates members who are excelling in innovative print and online media. This competition showcases some of the best media produced by and for our members and is available as a free benefit exclusively for Citygate Network mission/ministry members and business partners. The competition opens on March 3, 2025 and will close April 15, 2025.
Submissions may be developed by an in-house team or created by an outside agency, as long as they highlight the work of a Citygate Network member ministry.

Recognition:
- An Award of Excellence and an Award of Merit will be given for each category and budget size group.
- NEW! In each budget group, the ministry with the highest number of total judging votes will receive a complimentary registration for the 2026 Annual Conference & Exposition in Grand Rapids, Michigan!
- NEW! The Citygate Network website will spotlight all the winners, with their media featured in our new + upcoming 'Media Samples' Resource Library.
- NEW! We’ve opened the competition to Citygate Network business members in an effort to recognize their creative partnerships with our ministries and as a celebration of the ways they support and collaborate with our members.
- Winners will be celebrated and given their award during a General Session at the Lead Me Home Annual Conference and Exposition in Phoenix, Arizona, from May 28 - 31, 2025.
- Citygate Network's Facebook and Instagram pages will recognize Award of Excellence winners.
- A future issue of Instigate, our award-winning magazine, will feature the Award of Excellence winners.
- Photography winners will be showcased on a future cover of Instigate magazine (subject to compatibility with theme content) and/or in other Citygate Network print and digital communications, with photographer and ministry credits.
- All photography entries could be featured alongside future Instigate magazine articles of corresponding content, with photographer and ministry credits.
