Kitchen Manager
Beautiful Feet Ministries is looking for a Kitchen Manager to operate our soup kitchen and work with our many volunteer teams.
 Staff member responsible for prepping, cooking, and serving meals. This includes managing volunteers, restitution workers, and discipleship men/women that are serving in the kitchen. Manager provides meals for breakfast and lunch, five days a week, Wednesday Nights kids events, and for mission team orientations. Proper cleaning and following of TAFB, Texas, and Fort Worth Consumer Health Division policies are required.  Kitchen manager also responsible for organizing all food and dry storage. This includes rotating stock, checking for spoiled product, and cleaning food storage areas.  Kitchen manager makes sure dishes are cleaned each day and that equipment is properly disinfecting.  Kitchen manager responsible for providing food for outreaches on Friday nights and other outreaches throughout the week. Manager also trains and oversees volunteer cooks and servers on Saturdays and Sundays. Manager is responsible to make sure all volunteers have proper food handler’s cards, attire, and experience.  Kitchen manager inventories and purchases paper products, food, paper, and cleaning supplies from the food bank, Sam’s club, and Restaurant Supply.  Kitchen manager responsible for preparing meal for Christmas Caroling Blitz and Secret Agent Christmas as well as managing volunteers serving at that time.  Kitchen manager is required to work with ministry staff and attend regular staff meetings every Tuesday at noon.  Kitchen Manager is off 2 days per week. Texas Food Safety Managers Card is required.
